Abel Blocks Mini Set of 12

The Abel Blocks Mini are the smaller versions of the Abel blocks. Two minis are as long and as high as a large block. These Mini blocks are handmade from solid, sustainably managed and FSC approved European beech.

You can play with the minis on the table, on the floor or outside, in exactly the same way as you would play with the larger blocks. Due to their small size, you can also easily take them anywhere you fancy.

Both children and adults have fun with Abel wooden blocks. You can create amazing circular structures, bridges, mandala shapes and so much more besides - the creative possibilities and open-ended play possibilities are endless! 

Abel blocks encourage experimental play, and it’s through this that children encounter logical thinking methods and a practical understanding of physics. Beyond the educational benefits, Abel blocks are a superb open-ended play resource that can be incorporated into all manner of daily play: make ramps for toy cars and trucks, pens for animals, even mountains and hills too. This set is also great for younger children too. Building towers, creating figures and exciting balance games are just a few of the play options available. If you want to expand the set later, you can easily do this with one of the other sets.

About Abel Wooden Toys

Abel was started by two brothers, Folko and Jelmer. Folko conceived of the Abel concept originally, but it was Jelmer, who’d studied teaching specialising in Waldorf teaching methods, where he also learned about how you can use teaching materials to help with growth and development, and make them fun too. Both brothers are driven by a desire to make life an adventure: to discover new things and push boundaries while developing sensory skills along the way.

Abel building blocks are sustainably made from FSC-approved European beech by a small family workshop in Poland before being assembled by Abel at their base in Holland. 

We stock a lot of European brands who use the height of your child instead of an age range, this seems complicated but it really isn't, we promise! Simply measure in cm's from head to heel and that is the size you need to buy.
