Little Coach House Phonics Flashcards are a fantastic resource to help your child start to recognise the letters and sounds they will learn in phonics. Phonics is taught in schools and pre-schools across the UK. It helps children to recognise the letters of the alphabet and the sound that each letter makes. Little Coach House know for most parents phonics is a completely new idea so they have included an information card that gives a summary of what phonics is and explain some of the key words used when talking about phonics.
Their flashcards come in two sets which correspond with the phase two and phase three sounds taught in schools. Each card has a beautiful hand drawn image to go with each letter to help your child recognise the sound it makes. Your child can trace the letters with their fingers and use them to make words. They are an ideal resource for children from the age of 3 upwards who are just starting to learn phonics.
Little Coach House have printed them on Eco-Kraft card so that the print is easily visible and the children aren’t distracted by bright colours. This is particularly helpful for children with additional learning needs.
They also come with an organic cotton bag to store them in meaning there is no plastic in sight!
Cards are printed on A6 Eco Kraft recycled card 270gsm.
