Little Coach House Tricky Word Flashcards are a great resource for supporting children to learn tricky words at home. Tricky words are words that children can't sound out phonetically, the pack includes all the tricky words taught in phase 2 - 5 of the Letters and Sounds Government document.

Little Coach House knows how confusing phonics can be for parents so they have included a helpful information card that explains a little bit about tricky words, what they are and why your child will be learning them. On the back of this information card there is a table which lists all the tricky words in their different phases and the order your child will be taught them at school.

Little Coach House have printed them on Eco-Kraft card so that the print is easily visible and the children aren’t distracted by bright colours. This is particularly helpful for children with additional learning needs.
